I am not sure phone wifi can work as a hotspot and connect to a different hotspot at the same time. If it can that is a really cool use case. Why can't you do that same thing on the pone with a voice account?

I did not see a Fi app for the iPad in the app store. I am not sure if it wold really tell me anything since I don't have Fi service yet. Having a secure iPad at hotspots would go a long way in getting me to switch to Fi.

Fi on phones uses encryption to secure your data while using open hot spots. Does this feature work with the new data only SIM's? How would I get this to work on my iPad?
