    Well I found out problem. If ATT message app is loaded. Dont set to receive notifications in settings. It will override vanilla messaging app. Thanks anyhow, lmfao

    Hi all, my messaging app works, but does not register number of texts anymore. It os the one came with phone. I have to open it to see if have text. No more red circled # Turned off app - turned on. Still same Please help. Thanks
