Longtime Note user bored with 10+. Thinking of making the switch to iPhone

Last week I went and bought an iPhone pro max. I still have my note 10+ though. My work phone recently got upgraded from a 5c to an XR. And that upgrade really blew my mind because prior to the upgrade I detested iOS and iPhones. The main thing that changed my perception was their version of...

    Battery life

I think Google is doing something similar to apple. Proving that a spec sheet doesn't matter. Obviously even the smaller battery on the pixels aren't making a difference from what I've been reading. I'm seeing great battery results. Same with the ram. Apple uses less ram but their phones...

The Official : I just cant do it.

It's not sorcery lol It's one of the many prime benefits. Just install it and use their backup feature. I've also ditched Google play music for Amazon's too. You can get most songs for free, and you actually have the music file unlike with Google play where they encrypt it so you can't find...

The Official : I just cant do it.

For those who are dismayed at losing the unlimited Google photo backup, there's always Amazon photos. If you're a prime member you get unlimited. I made the switch about a year ago and haven't looked back. Doesn't matter what phone you have either.

Pixel 3 XL vs Pixel 4 XL

That's very strange. Maybe Huawei implementation isn't set up to be secure. Google has rules for security that a phone manufacturer has to implement to be considered secure. As in, to be used for a secure sign ins, payments, etc. Then again, I'm pretty new at development and good be way wrong lol

Pixel 3 XL vs Pixel 4 XL

I have seen this issue mentioned a couple times in different posts. Regarding face id or fingerprint. I have done some Android development myself so I'm pretty sure biometrics coding is built into a phones chipset. An app either uses biometrics or it doesn't. So an app developer doesn't...

Battery is fast becoming a showstopper....

I'm routinely getting 6hrs screen time and 30% left at end of day. No power saving, highest screen resolution. Best battery life I've ever gotten on any previous phones.

Do you rock your phone without a case?

OtterBox defender immediately upon opening the box on the new phone. Every phone I do the same thing

Longtime Note user bored with 10+. Thinking of making the switch to iPhone

My work phone is an iPhone XR. It just replaced a 5s. I'm really really loving the face id. It just blows away anything with a fingerprint sensor. Prior to this upgrade I hated iOS but now I'm starting to like it alot more. I'm actually contemplating a switch over to iPhone for personal use...

    FPS on Note 10+.

Mine works ok with screen protector but my work phone is an iPhone XR and I hate to say it but, face id is superior. I really wish Samsung had included it with this phone. Not having to touch the screen, fumbling for the exact Placement of the finger. Maybe next note they can include it as an...

Note10+ fingerprint sensor slow as hell!

Not sure if this will help somebody. For those who don't keep their AOD on, the fingerprint icon is not visible. I set my screen to "lift to wake", which briefly illuminates it long enough for me to get a perfect finger placement. With my note 8 I always had to lift my phone up to access the...
