It's not normal but IP68 means it isn't harmful. Maybe you live in a humid environment?

Like most phones it doesn't exactly look durable. It sucks but I feel like this is more your fault than Samsung's.

I've never experienced battery deterioration to the point I'd replace it so it doesn't bother me too much. What did used to be useful though was the ability to buy a couple and bring one as a backup.

This is the main issue I feel. I use bluetooth headphones but sometimes they aren't charged or it's just easier to plug in a jack that go through the connection process. It's not a deal breaker but it isn't a step forward either.

Me being home is no guarantee of not dropping it. Granted using a case isn't perfect but it's all I know at this point. The last phone I used without a case was a samsung flip phone :)

I think Nexus spoiled people for years selling high performance phones for a sub-flagship price. The Pixel is in line with what Samsung and Apple charge, and rightly so.

I'd say P9 Lite, 3GB RAM and a better camera. If not I'd have the LG.

Had the 6P and bought the Pixel. Generally I get a new phone every 6 months so it'll probably be between the Pixel 2, S8 and Note 8. All 3 look exciting so let's see what the later part of the year brings.

Based on the phones alone I prefer the 6P. The warranty wouldn't be a big concern for me. If I was in your shoes I too would sell them both and get a newer model, not a bad position to be in.
