If it doesn't already have it you'll need a custom recovery, i recommend the newest and best one out there 4th ext. recovery available here...

Re: 4th Ext. Recovery Control and Updater. Yeah, that's why I'm trying to get the word out about this app. Its by far the most complete recovery available out there, it puts twrp and cwmr both to shame, not to mention its a much better rom manager by far. Get it folks you won't be disappointed!

Well I got it easily fixed, sold the POS and bought a 1.4 hboot all on craigslist, bought it for 220 and sold mine for 220, it only took a matter of hours and 20 or so calls, I recommend the same for everyone having 1.5 hboot problems, as there are a lot of people who don't accept OTA's, and...
