I also have an EVO 4G and installed CM7.2 RC 1 on it. I was running 7.1 stable prior but thought I would try and see if this would get my 2009 Ford Flex with Sync to work with text messaging. It didn't help. Under message notification on my Sync system it still says unsupported for my phone...
