Sorry, new to rooting android devices still. I need to edit a config for the hotspot on my phone, and it seems unlocking the bootloader + rooting is the only way to do this. Is there a tutorial for this with the latest build? Or similar, at least? Also, am I correct in believing the phone...

One of the best phones I've owned, tbh. Camera is pretty good, fast, responsive, haven't been able to slow it down yet - believe me I've tried.

Sure , if you have hotmail (you'd need paid hotmail to do this suggestion)... you can forward your hotmail to your gmail, tell hotmail to leave a copy in your hotmail inbox (if you want), go to gmail, and tell it to match the to: your email address @ hotmail.com (or whatever domain you want)...
