I am considering purchasing an unlocked Xperia ZR and i have At&t network. Can i udate the software once i put my at&t sim card in this ZR because the phone will come with 4.1 installed but i have read it is elligible for an update to 4.2. My question is, since it isnt technically an at&t phone...

Does anyone know if the Xperia TL will get 4.2? I know 4.1 is slated to come to Sony phone in February, but i'm wondering why they dont just send out the 4.2 instead since its basically a tweaked update anyway.

I want the rom for 4.2 for my phone then. Where do i find it, and how do i use/do a rom ? I know i know, I have no idea what I'm doing.

I also would like to know how to do this as I have this same issue. Bought a lumia 920 returned it and got the Xperia TL (unbelievable phone by the way) but i have no idea how to get my contacts over to the android phone from the lumia.

Play anything other than MP3s in audio, and play MPEG4, H.263, H.264 videos only. this phone is not the best android out, i dont care how fast it is. It barely supports any playback other than these listed, which leaves quite a bit to be desired.

Is there a way to get this on my Xperia TL? This phone is glorious other than missing mass reply all text in one thread. Please let me know. Also, if it is possible to get this on my phone can someone give me a step by step process on actually installing this on my phone as I am ignorant on...

I am glad the OP did the work and got this done, but I am not excited. The fix is wonderful and i truly appreciate the efforts, but we all know how these updates get rolled out. Other than the Nexus 4, Jelly Bean 4.2 (which will have this fix apparently) will not come to all of our devices for...

I have not seen that anywhere stating that jelly bean update will resolve this. What i do know is the only android phones that will do mass texting (reply all in same thread) are the motorola atrix phones as their moto blur skin offers it standard in the text settings. Google needs to add this...

The only android i have seen that does it with the stock messaging app is the motorola Atrix 1,2 and HD. Why this isnt standard on every android phone is beyond me, as it can be done with Iphons, Windows phones, and even the blackberrys, and it is stock on them not an app.

Yea i have a windows phone mango 7.5 and it was working fine for about 4 months, then the keyboard died as well as quit downloading web pages. Their pretty, but they are $hit.
