Yeh, I think it's your OCD and you are draining your battery faster than need be by doing it. If you're worried about the cache stacking up, go into your Settings and look under Internal Storage and clear it. Where it is exactly differs between OS.

Just as closure, I went ahead and pulled the trigger on this one. Got the matte blue as well. Set everything up, went into Verizon for a new sim card, let them activate it, and now I'm happy as can be. 6 gig of ram and 128 in storage and hopefully I'm good for the next 2 years. Sweet device...
