    Pixel worth buying in 2019?

Hi All, I my current phone is dieing (Sony Z3c) which is a real shame, because its served me extremely well for the last 6 years. My only quibble with it was maybe the camera is not as good as I would have liked. Anyhow my brother had a pixel a couple years ago, and I recall thinking that it...

    Moto X Mini/Compact?

I would love a Moto X the same size as the 2013 version but with a slightly bigger battery/cpu and a better camera. They can keep the resolution the same, 720p is great on a 4.7" screen.

Republic Wireless + Moto X Review

I was actually getting up to 16 mbs on the 4G/LTE plan, coverage is pretty limited though so I normally end up on the painfully slow 3G at sub .5 mbs speeds.

Moto X via Republic Wireless = $299 contract free w/ unlimited plans ranging between $5/mo to $40/mo

Been loving my RW moto X so far... I actually get some nice 4G speeds in my area and the Moto X is just AWESOME. seriously a nice phone, it pushes the size range I wanted but I'm managing ok. LOVE the soft touch back and the black weave is really attractive in a subtle sort of way. The little...

Welp now Moto X is getting kitkat before the official OTA for the Nexus 4... Guess the whole nexus get update first idea is out the window. Gota say Motorola has been awesome at pushing updates out to the Moto X FAST.

I need some help guys, Keep my Nexus 5 or jump to a Moto X

I had to make the same choice between the N5 and Moto X. Having used both phones this is what I concluded Screen (depends on if you like AMOLED vs LCD tech) Battery (from what I read the Moto X does a bit better but I was not able to test this out personally in the short time I had with either...

    Moto X Preformance

You can think of the GPU as the processor that makes your games run smoothly. CPU is more of a general processor for running basic OS tasks, starting up apps, loading web pages as data comes through etc etc. If you want to know how the Moto X stacks up I highly encourage you to read this...

    Moto X with Republic Wireless?

Yea I went ahead and purchased one Friday evening. I got the unlimited call/msg 5gb, 4G LTE plan since I actually have sprint LTE in my area (and spreading fairly quickly to outlying areas too). But ya I'm interested to see how the wifi calling works and of course $300 for a Moto X is awesome.

    QUESTION : Nexus 5 or Moto X?

Re: QUESTION : Moto X or Nexus 5??? I went ahead and just purchased the Moto X from Republic wireless (sprint mvno) for $300. was pretty much between that and the Nexus 5 for me. I figure if I don't like RW I'l just return the phone and get the N5. The N5 is just a tad to big for my taste. I...

What phone are you coming from?

You need a "Other Device" option =p Im actually using a HTC wildfire S so im VERY ready to upgrade lol. I always liked the smaller form factor phones but I dont think the 5" phones are going away so might as well jump on the bandwagon with a N5 Assuming the cam and battery life are decent.

Android Virgin Curious About First Device

I would strongly advise you go to an AT&T store and try out the Moto X, its probably the closest to raw android you can get on a stock manufacturer phone, plus it has a few cool tweaks like the always on voice activation/control. If you want to try out pure android the Nexus devices are...
