My snooze failed today...luckily I didnt miss anything. Set alarm for 6:40am, snoozed, then woke up at 7:15am. The alarm was still in "snooze mode" but it obviously hadn't gone off after the first 10 minutes.

I used this method described by scotty85 in the link. I used fastboot (fastboot boot filename.img) to boot into Amon Ra recovery...chose the option to install superuser, and then rebooted. Now I'm rooted with the OTA, and superuser app in my app drawer. Seems painless and easy enough.

Planning to get a Rezound soon...but when rooted, one thing I want to do is use the SixAxis Controller app to use a PS3 controller to play emulator games on my phone. That requires root. I've already done it on my OG droid, and it works great.

Hmmm, I plugged my Bionic into my home stereo via the headphone jack, and heard no background hiss. The music was clear and sounded great.

Id prefer naked, but I have a silicone case on it to protect from scratches. This silicone case seems to be a dust magnet itself though...I have a hard shell on order from Amazon

8 days in and 1.27GB used. Looks like im on the low side of people posting here, but probably high due to setup and just playing with the phone in general.
