    Releases

Hi, Nexus devices are made by Google so they get the update first. The new Android updates are made by Google also. Other phones have to skin the original update and then release it to their phones. Samsung typically takes the longest to release the new updates. Hope this helps!

Why is only the bottom 1 cm of my screen unresponsive?

Hi, So the damage might be visible along the top but the internal LCD of the phone may be damaged. To get this fixed, I would think you would have to change the LCD however I'm not positive of this. I've seen this type of situation before and it's most commonly fixed by changing the LCD. Hope...

Thinking of Switching from the Note 7

Hi, I had a OnePlus 3 and I absolutely hated it. I don't know about now, but back when it came out, it has SOOOOOOOO many glitches. SOOOOOOOO many. For example, fingerprint sensor often didn't work. Notifications didn't come through even when the phone was in use. The ring tone would go off when...

Is Samsung Galaxy S7 still waterproof after cracked back screen?

I would assume it is not longer water resistant. The glass is likely to let water seep into the phone internals. To be safe, my best bet is no. Hope this helps!

Which would be better for me to buy, the s7 edge or the s7?

On the S7, one handed operation is much better. On the S7 Edge, the edge feature is very cool. It appears that every thing on the phone is falling off the screen like a waterfall. However, in time, you get used to the feature and don't realize it or think it's cool anymore. For long term use, I...

    Nougat OTA Update

Hi. On a friend's Nexus 5X, they have received the OTA update already. They were not on the Developer preview. It was released to them about a week ago. It really all depends on what carrier your Nexus 6P is with. Different carriers release the update at different times (even though they...

Looking for a new device, need advice

Hi, so, I wouldn't choose any of these devices. If you are looking in that price range, I would definetely go for a Samsung Galaxy S6. First thing to say, if you look at LG G4 reviews on the Internet, you will see that everyone that owned this phone has had a bootloop problem. This is when the...

Wouldn't this be the time to launch Allo?

Hi, I do agree with you on this being the right time to release Allo. To me, Google Duo was a big hit already. Since I have friends in other states, I can use this app to talk and video chat with them whenever I want. I think a lot of other people found Duo just as useful as I did. However, I...

    Considering Galaxy S7 Edge

Hi. Yes, the screen is more prone to cracking with this edge display. If it is dropped, and a rock lands on the edge of the screen, it would likely leave a very ugly crack spreading across the screen with a big mark on the edge it landed on. I am used to smaller phones, and I have tried a...

Will my Samsung Galaxy S5 get marshmallow?

If your device was originally with a carrier, in your case AT&T, it will get whatever update that carrier pushes out. It doesn't matter if you go and use another carrier's service. Whatever carrier it comes from, that's what updates your phone will receive. It's similar to if you switch to...

    Night mode gone

Night Mode is actually gone on the new Android 7.0 Nougat. They removed it as a feature. Not too sure why as it was kind of cool. Anyway, night mode is gone. Hope this helps!

    GS7/Twitter Night Mode

Try to pull in from the left side of the app. This should show your profile, highlights, etc. Near the middle of all of these options, there should be an option saying Night Mode. Hope this helps!
