    Camera Screen Freezes with first image on start up

    Try a soft restart. Press and hold power button and select restart. Careful as all temporary files will be deleted.

    HTC One Camera problem: static live view but still takes photos and video

    I had the same issue with an HTC one. I did a reboot and the problem was gone. Hold the power button and the volume up button together for about 10 seconds a the phone will reboot. No need for a hard reset. Good luck.
