    Kingdom Rom

As far as I know, partitioning the SD card formats it as well.. Did you back up your info to your PC?

Undervolt more or try Tiamat. I know SZ doesn't play well with my phone but Tiamat does. If I'm not cruising the internet on my phone all day or playing games (slow days at work ftl), just routine FB/Twitter and some texting while at work I don't usually get below 80% battery after about 9 hours...

it's sleek and nice and all, but I have to say- I switched to Android from my old iPhone for a reason.

    GB Rom For EVO

[4-16-11][ROM] gingerbread-evo-deck [pre3][1.0] - PPCGeeks boom, deck's is it's own beast, way closer to what you'd be used to on a Nexus phone. Everything works great for me and I get 15-20+ hours of battery using Tiamat's kernel.

Using a rooted stock ROM is what I recommend. Also you SHOULD do a fresh re-flash of CM7 after you do the fix

    cm7 nightly 35

This. If that doesn't work, try a Sense ROM. If it's working there, do the data fix (don't have the link atm) and re-flash. Alternatively, go to a stock ROM, update your profile and PRL, then try re-flashing.

    Best Sense-based ROMs?

He said sense-based. VaelPak sure as hell isn't AOSP based.

    deck's GB or CM7?

So, I see now that deck has released an RC8. I also am already on nightly 36 of CM7. My problem? Both are beautiful, stable (well haven't flashed RC8 from deck, but RC7 was 90% of what I wanted compared to N36 being 95% of it) and fast. I get slightly better battery with deck's ROM, but I'm...

    Best Sense-based ROMs?

I love VaelPak. It's super customizable, runs ADW Launcher or Launcher Pro like a dream and it's clear of bloatware. Though admittedly, I made mine look just like Gingerbread (then I bit the bullet and went to Deck's GB ROM, then finally CM7)

Or download and flash nightly 35... I had issues with RC4 and 35 has been magical for me.

Maps/GPS working fine, camera and camcorder also doing well. How far should I be able to overclock on the new Tiamat kernel? I wanna see how n35 handles some increased speed.

Yes. I flashed it last night- fast, 4G has been a lot more stable. Haven't tried maps, overclocking or Bluetooth yet though.

Data drops, the 3G and 4G icons staying in the notification bar, WiMax toggling issues, WiFi connectivity issues, the whole shebang. Starting to think it's just a byproduct of using a completely AOSP rom though. EDIT: Just saw the CM7 Fixes thread, going to try a couple of those fixes and see...
