It's not the case. I've had my Note 8 for about 8 months now and mine has done this since day 1. I've had the Samsung book cover which I since stopped using, in favor of an OtterBox. In any state the tablet still has the freezing input issue. It's a fairly common and well documented problem...

That's exactly what happens, the unit will not accept any input for a few seconds, and it can happen as frequently as a minute apart. Most of the time it's not that bad though Doesn't appear to affect using a Bluetooth keyboard, so I suspect it's a glitch with the touchscreen/touch control...

Been wondering the same. A few posts have indicated Samsung may not have plans to update the i467, but I strongly hope this is not true. My unit suffers from the random input freeze problem, which is apparently fixed with 4.2.2... If nothing else, I eagerly await an update for that reason.

I did, and it was definitely a bit of a hassle. I wound up exporting and importing, and/or using all of the Google provided tools on each respective service, to get all my stuff over. What complicated this, was data being present from multiple accounts. First problem was getting my Contacts...

Indeed. You'll be able to redownload any apps you had before, though. As long as you've been syncing with Google, all your contacts, calendar info etc should be restored. But third party app info may not be. I.e. games and such may lose their data.

Hmm. Wish I had any other ideas, have you rebooted the tablet? Did you recently update? If so my guess would have to be that you need to do the reset. But hopefully someone here will have another suggestion. Haven't had this issue on my unit, so I can't verify any other methods. Sorry!

Not that I'm aware of, the methods I mentioned should do it. You tried holding the Back button, and verified it's not disabled in the settings??

You can toggle it in the settings bar I mentioned above. Same setting can be found in Settings -> Display -> Multi-Window. Btw, some people reported losing this function after updating to Android 4.2.2. If you recently updated, that may be the reason as well. Some got it back with the Settings...

When you open the Downloads app (assuming that's what you're doing?) there's an Other Downloads tab to show more files. If that doesn't reveal them, you can also view your Downloads folder(s) in the My Files app. I've done that for some files that wouldn't show in the Downloads app.

Re: BBM for note 8.0 I have the Telus Canada Note 8.0 (SGH-I467M) with LTE, and it is also not supported. I suspect they're not allowing support for non phone devices.
