Hello, can you tell me how you got rid of that icon, my brothers phone has the same icon.

I use GoSMS, and was able to fix this. Try going Settings, then MMS settings and make sure "preserve image resolution" is checked.

I didn't lose any data/apps when using instructions in post 1. The only thing I had to do was root my phone again.

Thank you! Ran into an error when trying to run the zip but it was because I changed the FWupgrade.apk name when trying to stop the upgrade notifications, after renaming it back, the upgrade worked flawlessly. Well, I just found that I lost my root access.
