    [how to]cm7 + cm9 + cm10

Re: [HOW TO]Perfect working CM7 Has anyone tested out the GPS in apps like Google Maps or Navigation or Tracks? I've had my p505 is several different states in all kinds of weather conditions and it seems like the GPS function in CM9 really sucks. It almost never finds my location. If it does...

    [how to]cm7 + cm9 + cm10

Re: [HOW TO]Perfect working CM7 Hey all, just wondering if someone could comment on battery life using CM7. I'm really interested in a comparison between battery life using CM9 nightly's with Arjen's kernel and this working CM7. I have been running CM9 with Arjen's kernel now for almost 3...

    [ROM][CM9][ICS][4.0.4] Cyanogenmod 9, Android ICS 4.0.4

I have somewhat of a noob questions. I decided to try the whole link2sd thing. When I format my SD card I only have the option to choose the SD_Ext size and the Swap size. There is no EXT_2 and I don't know how to format EXT_2 to Ext_3. Does anyone have some more directions for this link2sd...

    [KERNEL][CM9][ICS] CAF-based 2.6.35 kernel for ICS-based roms

I can confirm that. Arjen, thanks again for all your hard work. I will be buying at least 3 drinks in the next few hours.

    [ROM][CM9][ICS][4.0.4] Cyanogenmod 9, Android ICS 4.0.4

I used the dev-host link on the kernel forum. Is there another place that a newer kernel is available?

    [ROM][CM9][ICS][4.0.4] Cyanogenmod 9, Android ICS 4.0.4

I just tried out the Arjen's CM9 rom for the p505 from last week sometime. I used his kernel but I couldn't get the wifi to actually turn on. It just got stuck on turning on wifi. Has anyone else had this issue?

    .35 Gingerbread/ICS Kernal

Well I'll try out the stock kernel with the baseband fix again but data services still didn't work for me after I installed the the stock kernel. That happened on funny sim versions of roms as well. The baseband fix didn't seem to do anything. I'm pretty sure that's because phoenix users that...

    .35 Gingerbread/ICS Kernal

I basically run my phone day to day with stock gingerbread. However, when I do try out various roms I have used your .35 rom, Joban. The funny sim versions of roms seem to get data services with Joban's .35 kernel. If I switch to the stock p505 rom from I'm not sure who (Raenye or Drew???) and...

    .35 Gingerbread/ICS Kernal

Just wanted to through in an update. I have tested the latest nightlyfourE. With Joban's kernel, data services work but of course wifi does not. With the from source p505 kernel (meant for obb???), wifi works fine but then data services are gone. I tried flashing the old baseband fix zip but...

    .35 Gingerbread/ICS Kernal

Well, I haven't tested the Funny SIM old baseband fix yet. I don't know if that will fix data/apn issues. It would appear, however, that the cm7 nightly version 2.x on seems to incorporate whatever is fixing data/apn issues. So far I have tested just plain cm7 and I have data. Later today I will...

    .35 Gingerbread/ICS Kernal

That has been a problem for any of us that have upgraded our phoenix's to gingerbread. The only fix I know of is to use the beta4 version of cm9 with funnysim in the title that was posted earlier in this forum. I realize that's not really a fix as it is a different rom. I would really like to...

    .35 Gingerbread/ICS Kernal

Glad someone else confirmed this working. I posted earlier that my data worked with the funny sim version of the cm9 rom! I want to know why us AT&T people apparently have "funny sims" and what was progammed into the rom differently. I would like to incorporate that into some of the older more...

    .35 Gingerbread/ICS Kernal

Well, Happy to report that 3g/data works great on my Phoenix that is running gingerbread on beta4 of the CM9 (funny sim version). All we need now is a kernel that fixes wifi and upgraded phoenix users could be running ICS!

Data service issues with .35 kernel/nbb

Some people have posted in forums that the reason they were not getting data services was that there sim cards were outdated or some incompatible type/format. I wondering if that could have anything to do with what's going on with our data services. I am doubting it because we do have data...
