I received my update this morning. 164.13 MB, August 1 security patch level and running build MMB29M and G935UUEU2APG9 baseband Are we the first S7Edges in the US on the August patch level?

Quite the opposite actually. I have the US Unlocked version and have yet to receive a security update. Still on May and all the carrier's are on July or August

For those that said they've received an update: are you using a G935U and not a G935F?

I bought it for reduced bloatware and speedy updates. Like was mentioned, no updates yet to speak of. Still running the May patch level on my phone. Also using AT&T and no VoLTE support.

After I inserted my AT&T SIM card the phone had to reboot and it appeared to perform some type of low level upgrade. I'm wondering if the phone loads a unique baseband image per carrier - maybe optimizing which radio bands are active or something like that. Anyway, I'm curious to see what...

My first attempt gave me that error. Second attempt one day later at same merchant with same card worked ok. Didn't change anything in the app so all I can say is keep trying? Posted via the Android Central App
