Try this... settings>accounts>google account. Under privacy there should be an ads button. This will redirect you to a website where you can opt out of these ads. Hope this helps

Thanks for the advice. I just downloaded the app you suggested. I'm still having a hard time zoning in on exactly which app(s) are causing the problem but it's giving me the option to opt out of interest based advertising and stuff like that. So thanks for the suggestion

I'm a newb so please bear with me... The ad situation on my phone is suddenly brutal. I can hardly type a word or click a button without accidentally clicking on some ad that redirects me to another page. I'm sure this is due to one of the many apps I've downloaded, I'm just not sure how to tell...
