Could I some how downgrade back to kitkat and then root? Or can you only downgrade devices that can be or have been rooted? I do not care for Lollipop.... my phone somehow magically updated itself and I am kinda mad about it.

I am trying to root my and my GF's phone. We both have the Samsung S5 SM-G900A with Lollipop version 5.0 and Kernel version 3.4.0-4432708 Mar16, 2015. I have been trying to do this for several hours today and am getting quite frustrated.... so far I tried the easier Towelroot with no luck (even...
