I've only seen that greyed out when there is no lock screen security set up. I tried to retest it with no lock screen security but I can't disable or change my lock screen security anymore. So I guess my bug to add is that once I set up a pattern for lock screen I can't change it to anything...

Yes it takes a few seconds but then you'll a plus sign looking lightning bolt next to your battery charging icon. It does the most if it's work from 0 to 70 percent in about a half hour. Then it slows down and its pretty much like a regular charger until full. Posted via the Android Central App

I just got mine and I'm not impressed. The circle is too small for the front cover app. It should be large enough for the battery level. Also when its folded underneath phone it keeps enabling the cover app like it's closed.

Not really. Of course you can backup any pics, vids and docs to your external sd card or a pc. Google saves apps, background pics and WiFi passwords if you enable that. You have to be in WiFi when you reinstall though for apps to be downloaded correctly. And you need to have that first WiFi...

Nope, not rooted. The update had to be in the first folder of SD, internal drive. On restart it prompted to update.
