Not exactly. I couldn't find the option to completely turn it off. I was initially looking to turn it off for game development and testing, but I guess I didn't need to do anything for this device.

It seems like I didn't need to change the USB connection in the first place, but I've never known about the notification shade. Thanks.

Hello, I have a Wi-Fi Galaxy Tab 3, but I'm having huge problems trying to figure out how to turn off "USB Mass Storage" mode. I basically don't want the device to open up like a flash drive when connected to my computer. Also, I do not have a microSD attached to the device. Help greatly...
