After updating my Galaxy Note 3 to lollipop my Gear watch doesn't last more than 5 hours. I ran a test where I disabled bluetooth on the Note 3 and the watch lasted all day. My guess is that lollipop doesn't manage bluetooth signal power as well as KitKat did, but this is just a wild guess.
