I have tested it out and it does charge with Navigation and Pandora running. It takes longer but it does charge the phone. The Moto Car charger you have is rated for 950mah while the HTC one I have is rated for 1A. The HTC is better IMO.

So far from reading this thread I understand that most car chargers are rated 500mah (USB) where as the ones we are looking for charge at 1A (AC). Can the Galaxy Nexus support 2A? Are there any car chargers that are 2A? Is it safe to charge with 2A? I'm looking into it as well but all your help...

Do me a favor. Turn the brightness all the way down on your GN then go to a white or grey page. Do you see any lines showing up on the screen? Many of us have!
