[How to] disable LTE on AT&T S3 (you can disable HSPA+ too)

AT&T support walked me through it. Easiest way to do it: Settings > More Settings > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names Menu button and "New APN" Enter "wap.cingular" without the quotes for both the Name and APN fields. Save it and select it. Done. You can switch back and forth between the...

I don't want the OTA, but.......

I'm running stock that I debloated myself with a freezing app. Seems to run well. I was running Das BAMF Gingerstripped, which was great, but it was really weird when it came to charging the battery. Even after wiping the battery stats, it would take it about fifteen hours to charge up the...

Post OTA Battery Life Issue Under Investigation by HTC

Only reason I have a battery issue is because the phone is randomly rebooting itself several times a day... each uses a significant amount of juice, too.

Time is all most up - who's keeping - who's not?

Facebook notifications blow on Android. I'm not sure why facebook can't get it right and with push notifications. This having to check in every x minutes just to get SOME (messages, friend requests) notifications is for the birds.

I like "Setting Profiles". It's been great for me. Costs a couple of bucks, but well worth it. https://market.android.com/details?id=com.probeez.profiles

Time is all most up - who's keeping - who's not?

Eleer -- I've been using a BlackBerry for work for about five years and I've been upgraded every year since I started and am now on AT&T using the Torch. I've had VZW, T-Mobile and AT&T. I give BlackBerry lots of credit in the "it does what it's supposed to do" department. It is very reliable...

    Farewell Xoom

Well, as long as you don't count being able to make a call while holding the phone in your hand a "feature."

    Farewell Xoom

Dude.. you're returning it because you heard about the iPad 2 today? We all knew about the iPad 2 for weeks... some could argue a year.
