I have no idea what was causing the slow open/close but it went away on its own the next day. It must of had something in the background that was using memory or something. At any rate it is fine now and has been since the day after I posted this thread.

When I open an app it opens from the bottom to the top real slowly, when I close it it goes to the bottom slowly and goes away. I hate that, not sure how that happened but it just started today. How can I make it open and close normally?
