Lollipop update - lock screen weather widget won't go away!
Go to Settings-Device-Sounds and notifications. Scroll down and under the Notifications heading you'll see "While locked". Click that and select "Do not show notifications". This will clean up your lock screen. Posted via the Android Central App- the_fly68
