Will the Nexus 7 2012 get Android L? Although there is the '18 month rule', I am still hopeful that it will get L over other devices, seeing as it is a Nexus.

Why not G3 rather than G2. Or wait for the next Nexus phone to come out.

Re: screenshot click on lock screen? Have you tried removing Knock Code and doing it again? Maybe restarting the device? Try uninstalling Nova if it the first two suggestions don't work.

No. Not a good idea. The G3 is the newest version whereas the Z2 isn't as new anymore. The Z3 is coming out. The specs on both are pretty close but in my opinion I would stick with the G3. There really is no point in changing phone after 3 months.

Software updates could just be bug fixes. If it still says 4.4.2 then it should be one of those small fixes.

Are you sure it's not a keyboard problem? It could be something with the screen protector (if you have one) otherwise give your screen a good clean.

No, I mean not xposed modules sorry, I mean any app which previously required root.

I have noticed recently that there have been apps which used to require root and are now able to work without root. For example, Noyze volume works now fully without root and Greenify has options which work without root. I was wondering if there were any Xposed modules which were able to work...

I preferred the old Moto X in my opinion because the screen size was just right. The 2014 Moto X doesn't seem much of an upgrade from the 2013 edition. I agree that both the G3 and Moto X isn't much of an upgrade I would get the G3 even though it has been out for a bit already.
