I downloadd this app called Extreme Unit Converter and my Samsung Tab S began malfunctioning. I went to settings and it's not there to uninstall. I tried 3 antivirus apps and Malwarebytes and none of them found it. Any suggestions anyone? Posted via the Android Central App

Turn off your wifi, airplane mode, sync, bluetooth, etc. Force close all apps you're not using. Then only turn on the bare minimum functions you need. Posted via the Android Central App

I had an endless install problem too. I went into Settings-Applications and manually forced closed every app possible (you have to get into factory installed apps too. On Galaxy S4, you swipe a couple screens to the left.) After I did this, it freed up enough memory to install my new apps...

I had this problem after downloading a file app. I tried for a week to uninstall, went to forums for help and called Samsung. End result was that I had to factory reset. I know it's not what you want to hear but it is what it is. Posted via the Android Central App

Re: Downloaded file manager. Will not uninstall I know where Device Administrator is. I can't find the malware file manager on the list. Malwarebytes says the bad app is named "com.adv.fm.pro". I searched my fx file explore and there's no file by that name. Where is it?

Re: Downloaded file manager. Will not uninstall I just ran Malwarebytes. It says the file manager is trojan malware. It attempted to uninstall but needs Device Administrator permission. Problem is, it isn't listed. Where do I find it?

Re: Downloaded file manager. Will not uninstall I tried removing the icon. Only the icon disappears. App is?still there. It's not even listed in Device Administrators. I'm going to get an sd card and see if the option to move to external storage lights up and try deleting it from there...

Hi people, For the past 3 weeks, I've gotten a "Sprint Original Configuration" update notice in the drop down bar. I hit it once to find out what it was and my phone went back to factory. I keep getting this notice but delete it. How can I stop this? Sprint says they know nothing about it...
