If you looked at many twitter post from 'T-Mobile's Help' twitter handle, there was a network outage nation wide. I too have T-mobile and last night on my 6p it stated 'No Service' for over an hour. So yeah, nothing wrong with the update, just that T-Mobile had network issues.

As of this moment, texting seems down for tmobile. I was just curious if the sms I receive during the sms problems, would I still be able to receive them or not?

The 6 supports both of those, I had the 6 (bought from T-Mobile themselves) now own the 6P.
