    I get that. I guess i'm just not sure why Google wouldn't push for the same thing, at least with a Nexus device. You can't tell me Apple has that much more clout when it comes to carrier agreements than Google.

    I can't figure out why Apple is allowed to push any update at anytime on VZW, but android updates for any device must be tested and pushed out by Verizon. Can someone tell me why this is the case?
