I never got this notification until after the update to Android 11. Since then I've seen it several times. Usually wiping the top bar fixes it. Occasionally it doesn't, but after unlocking with PIN a couple times it went away. Right after seeing this thread yesterday it happened and persisted...

It happens to me after most security updates. A couple times it wouldn't let me turn it back on.

Poor cellular strength is a HUGE batter drain. I'm not surprised by this. I find that keeping data saver turned on is also great for my battery.

How long has it been happening? I've had a similar problem a couple times with a switch connected to Samsung Smartthings. In my case Alexa could turn the switch on/off but would announce the switch was not responding. I don't know the cause, but in both instances it resolved itself after a day...

It can be annoying if you just want to check the time, but I prefer it to swiping up.

I went from pixel 3 to pixel 4. All the negative reviews had me nervous, but I shouldn't have been concerned. I couldn't be happier with the 4.
