I tried the Note 8 and it was probably the nicest phone I’ve ever owned. However, I’m so bought in to Apple that it makes it very difficult to switch out. I ended up selling mine and going back to what I know. Good luck with your decision.

I have the freebie that came with the Note 8 and I have no issues at all. Full charge and cool to the touch when I get up.

I returned the Samsung Rugged case and got a Bodyguardz case after seeing how it looked on a friend's note. Very pleased with it and wireless charging works flawlessly with it.

What KupKrazy said. I think the 425 is a given as long as your phone meets their criteria. No cracks, holds a charge, isn't locked, etc... Received my Note on Tuesday and shipped my iPhone 6s today.

Samsung Pay is the main reason I bought the Note 8 instead of sticking with my IPhone.
