I did the same thing... I'm running 4.2.2, I give it a few seconds then the grayed out icons with SD on them turn into the regular icons they are supposed to be. I'm guessing its mounting the sd card and then syncs up and its all good. Works great here.

Under settings -> application mgr --> applications on sd....I have a checkbox next to my apps. I check it...next screen has move to sd card. So I'm moving installed apps to it. tab 2 7". 4.2.2

I just got mine..its "OK". Don't expect to type fast if you have big hands.

where do we get this rom from and the instructions to install it?

The Charge is a piece of crap. I had all sorts of issues...and its SLOW. Is this a valid question? Bionic vs. Charge? LOL.

Re: Has anyone returned their Bionic to Motorola for repair? And Nope. If its under warranty, I call Verizon and they swap it out with a refurb. I bought a Thunderbolt, complained, got a refurb TB. Didnt like it...Got a Incredible..didnt like it..got a Charge...and damn that phone...

After complaining to Verizon, I traded in my Droid Charge (POS!!!) for a Bionic. Just rooted... this phone is the best one I've owned. Works great!! Super fast! Awesome forum also!!

screw it.. I used Motorooter 1.4 to restore a old image, upgraded thru Verizon to 5.5.893, re-rooted and all is well. Not too happy with Titanium Backup Pro... I thought it would gzip the entire root "partition" and it would let me extract certain files..but I dont think it works that way...

I used MetaMorph on a theme install but ended up hosing it. I have my Bionic backed up with Titanium Backup Pro.. which file do I restore to bring my original theme/setup back into place?

I have 5.5.893 and its rooted.. I used MotoRooter-1.4 on Linux. Worked perfect. I think I tried what was in this thread and it didnt work.

I've went thru the list and froze apps with TiBackup Pro... so in theory this should make my phone run quicker if the apps are automatically running on boot? Thanks for the writeup also. :)

nevermind... factory reset and its usable again... I'll see if 4g/3g works with stock factory setup...or if I broke it.. LOL
