Mmmmm, nexus 7....

I like ChompSMS over Handcent personally. IMO it looks cleaner, performs slightly better. Again, personal opinion but when compared to stock either are a HUGE improvement.

Only thing bugging me is the ear speaker on the phone. Coming from an OG EVO4G, that particular piece of hardware was bigger. But really, if that's my only gripe with my phone, I'll take it.

This morning, on 1 bar (-95 dBm) I got 1.2 Mbps down at my place. Crazy thing is, I've been getting MAX 200, 300 Kbps. I don't know what's changed, but I'll take it :D

Exactly, or at least make me not worry about losing my gloves when I'm outside.

The EVO LTE and SG3 have SVDO radios so they can have 3G voice and data simultaneously.

Picked mine up from Best Buy today, price matched Radio Shack. First Samsung phone and I'm coming from the OG EVO 4G. Besides rooting and ROM's (waiting for a good solid CM9 or CM10) what are some things I can explore to make it more fun that you guys think are worthwhile? Thanks!

Evo or Gnex? I cannot decide!!! I feel so uninformed even with researching (has helped some), but oh boy so much info. So using both phones, which is preferred? or do I wait and see if there is a new Nexus phone coming out this year and go for that?

I'm still leaning towards upgrading my OG EVO 4G to a GNex, but the signal thing has me worried. I know when I'm home from school it doesn't matter. Home is cell phone purgatory, it doesn't matter your phone or carrier, there just ain't no signal. But having less signal in an area I already...
