Installing Goodlock on the Flip eliminates many times you need to open the phone, thereby saving on wear and tear of the hinge.

Same here. It's not my daily driver so I can hold on to it longer. Prefer the boxy style. Hopefully Samsung will change back.

Was just kidding on the titanium sim-tray, but I did notice the tray is flipped between 5 & 6

I purchased the optional titanium SIM tray, so no issues here. :) I did notice the tray orientation was different from the Flip 5, the circuit side of the SIM card is facing up on the 6.

Random stuff

Received my UPS shipping notice this morning at 12:31am. Supposed to be delivered 1/26 but not holding my breath on that.

My trade-in was received by Samsung on 8/19 and still has not been processed. I just got done chatting with support and they said they will push the trade-in through. Took all of 3 minutes.

I received an email today from Samsung with this: "We're thrilled by the response to recent trade-in deals and appreciate your patience as we work towards processing your trade-in device. Given recent trade-in volume, please know it may take up to 14 business days after you shipped the device...

Mine was approved today. Now just waiting on the watch trade-in.

Nice to see more and more folks getting theirs early. Seems mine always arrived on the release date.

Samsung was not very sharp with their order status matching reality. Usually it's pretty accurate. I'm loving the bigger outer screen, so much potential there.
