My job requires me to record the exact time and date often so I need a good digital watch. I like how this one looks and that it has an ambient display.

By settings I mean it's in the gear app manager settings on the phone, not on the watch.

If you mean by disabling the pin to unlock, then yes. It's in the settings to make the phone swipe only to unlock if the gear S2 is in range.

The developer of the xClock - Agent" face has told me the S2 is not released yet in Poland and when it is he will update the ambient modes. This may be why many faces don't have ambient modes. Sorry for all the posts, but if a watchface doesn't have a good ambient mode I won't use it. Honestly...

I turned the bluetooth off on my phone and had my bluetooth headphones synced to the watch. I tried to load Milk on the watch and it told me I needed to connect to the phone. I was at home with wifi connection.

I ordered an open box classic from best buy. It shipped right away. It was also $50 off and looked brand new. Score!

Can milk music work as a stand alone app on wifi? It could on the gear s but I couldn't get it to the other day when working out. Milk music on the watch really just seems like a remote for the phone app, and the music player app worked better as a remote.

I ran with the gear s alot and it's pretty similar. S health works much better and will run in the back ground. GPS can sometimes take a while to lock on before the run due to needing to use the cell tower triangulation. Once it locks on though it was always accurate. Milk music doesn't work...

Isn't burn in not really an issue on amoled screens? My gear s displayed the time while charging and I never had burn in. It would be nice if samsung updated the watch to atleast let it be an option.

The I'm Alive app works good for when you want a bedside clock while charging. I used the stock digital clock with a plain black background.
