In my experience WiFi is always used over data in all cases where both are available. There might be a way to change the default but I don't know of any.

When WiFi is connected, data usage is turned off.

Re: How to Get Marshmallow for Moto G3?? Not all devices in the US are getting updates. And Motorola decides the region for a device based on where it was bought. The system into says something like ret.us for US retail devices.

In the notification bar at the top, you will get an indication with the cellular signal strength bar. When using 3g, I get a small 3g icon with the signal bar at the top. See the screenshot. You can also see how much data is left and set limits to cellular data.

I've tried swift key and swype and both of them worked horribly for me while swiping for some reason. Perhaps they needed some time to learn my typing behavior but I uninstalled both of them within a week of installing. Google keyboard is the best for me. It looks awesome, it swipes awesome!

I have the 2gb version. I also turned off the "merge tabs and apps" setting in chrome. Also try closing all of the apps and then see if you can get the "fancy" previews. If freeing up the ram does the trick, then there is only one logical conclusion to make.

I get this when I scroll down from the open tab number button.

Re: Music playback stops when mobile network is lost Hmmm that's weird. Try restarting the phone, clearing the cache/data for Google play music. Try a different music app (I'd recommend shuttle) and see if that gives the same issue

It could be some app storing large amounts of data in your internal storage. If you go to settings>>storage, it gives you a composition of your internal storage. Should be clear from that information why your memory is full
