I fell in love with the tempered glass. It'll be hard to go back! The only gripe I have about this phone so far is a lack of accessories for it. So much faster than my LG V10.

I use QuickPic and have never had an issue with pictures being too large but I also don't transfer large photos like you. I personally can't stand the stock Android Gallery app.

I don't use the Gallery for several reasons but you can try to Clear Cache or Clear Data in the Application Manager. Another option would be to download a replacement from the playstore. QuickPic is one of the best ones I've found in the market and use this as a gallery replacement app.
