    Is there an app so a family can all sync?

    You could also try Our Groceries. It's a grocery app but you can sync it across phones. I sync my DX with my wifes bb. You can use any kind of list you want, not just groceries. It updates pretty much instantly.

    Are you rooted? I had this issue. You have to go to the system folder with root explorer or something similar and either rename or delete mms.apk. Or you could freeze it with titanium.
