so after reading various threads, it seems like a lot is needed for rooting and it's left me confused. haha. i have a nexus s 4g. android version 4.1.1 what do i need to download for rooting? and what's a good rom?

do you mean clearing the google server framework? that's what i've been doing.

well this sucks. i've been getting them for awhile now too. it always comes in just 1 day and i get them on the hour for several hours. sad to see there's no solution to it yet. i'm running stock ics.

when i have my keyboard open trying to search something up or text someone sometimes it will close it and just take me back to the home screen. but ever since ics came out, that's been my only issue. and of course, battery life.

gah. i hate how a main selling point for this phone is that we would get updates from google fast. but with cdma it takes forever.

isn't there a $20 to port your number to google voice? when i was looking into it, it said there was a fee.

fixed it. i just deleted my gv number and that was the only thing to fix it.
