Yes. It's a little cumbersome, but basically in a text field you can hold down a tap on the edit area and a menu comes up asking if you want to copy, paste, cut, etc. The browser also has a feature where you can select a bunch of text and copy it, though I haven't used this feature much yet...

Also, if you hold down the red power button you can opt to set the thing on silent mode or vibrate mode that way.

Yeah, the music app could certainly be better - though for me the main issue is the headphone jack bug (see the toggleheadset site for some background on the headphone jack bug and a widget which works around it). I have noticed some background noise (hiss/static) when playing back podcasts...

I haven't seen this behavior myself, but if you're one hour off is it possible the phone thinks you're in daylight savings time?
