from what everyone has mentioned. The only way to get rid of it is by root. Although people have assured me that is doesnt put any more drain on the battery having it just sit there. Im not sold on that yet tho. I just see no reason why an app has to be running if your not using it.....

yea, i dont have the gutts or faith to Uninstall it... I will keep using it i suppose until someone shows me that it really is not needed. I just dont understand why Google cant develope the software to work the way it should without needing something like ATK

So now that I have 2.2 running. Ive noticed that ATK is not working as well as it did when I was running 2.1 . Anyone else notice this??? It seems that once I kill tasks, they start up again immediatly afterwards. Im wondering several things.... 1. Is it even nessessary to use ATK...

Just used the zip file to upgrade to 2.2. Love it except for several apps. I dont use Skype, I dont want the AmazonMP3 and TaskKiller seems to have no effect on them. I dont want them cause I have a feeling they are adding to my battery consumption. I am NOT rooted, and would like to stay...
