I have not tried any but 3 that come to mind are pdanet, easytether, and klink. Verizon has blocked them on the market but you can access them by putting your phone in airplane mode and using wifi. Also Easytether is available in the amazon app store for ten bucks. Good luck!

An app called light flow should do the trick... it is able to make the led glow orange or green for sms emails etc while charging. You can also set priorities. It works really well for me and is free. Hope it helps!
