you have to push power button and then swipe to unlock. Is there a way to get rid of one of those steps?

Thanks Dan that worked sorta. Motorola website said it has to do with ambient lighting but I can still hold 2 Razrs side by side and sometimes mine lights up and sometimes it doesn't. It's not a deal breaker for me though...still think this is going to be a great phone for me.

I did the same thing! Felt like a dummy when my husband asked me if I took off the protective film. LOL

We got our Razrs yesterday and love them so far. My question is ... the home-menu row lights up on my husbands phone but doesn't on mine. Is there a toggle for this somewhere that I just can't find?
