I can confirm issue 1 more or less. It's slightly 'stuttery' for me as well with only a few of the call history. If I tap to load the complete history, the issue becomes even more noticable in terms of lag. As for issue 2, other than the recent/history tab, it seems to respond just fine here...

I just received the OTA for 5.1 build LMY47I on my Nexus 5. My provider is Vodafone (The Netherlands). Installed and working perfectly fine, no issues thus far. Too early to report on battery but I had no issues on 5.0.1 anyway. First impression is that it seems to be quicker and smoother...
