You know, it's interesting. Ever since I started this thread I've noticed that my message notifications seem to be appearing suddenly. It's almost like my phone knew I was looking for an answer and went "Oh crap, he's on to us! Act normal, act normal!"

Yup, that was the first thing I checked. I even tried turning off notifications in the app settings, rebooting, then turning them back on. Stock messaging app. I really don't want to install a messaging app when the phone comes with one already.
