This is a BAD BAD BAD crappy design flaw! I just did the same thing when I put my phone in my bag to go through airport security. My girlfriend sent q7 panicked mesages but I couldn't hear them. At the very least this creates unnecessary anxiety in people. At worst it makes a chicken little...
