The other thing I've found is that Google Drive is incredibly useful for this purpose. I don't even have to plug the USB in. Google just got my business when the 2 years for free is up.

I definitely agree with this. There's a fine tuning application in the phone to make those shots look exactly as you want them to look.

It saves a pic of both your image enhancements and the original. It's pretty cool.

I'm talking pre windows xp. The problem wasn't the hardware. At that point in time all laptops were handicapped by the processors and RAM that was used on mobile computing. I have an HP Laptop from 2000 here and even if I do a complete wipe and reinstall Windows on it it's still slow there...

I doubt that. I read specifically it's 14 days from the date of shipping when I ordered mine online. When you go through the checkout process it's in the fine print. It's overnighted to you though so it's not a long wait from the shipping date.
