    Optimus S, now with... FLASH!

It does work with Gingerbread! And apparently Froyo, on this phone - no guarantees on performance, though.

    Optimus S, now with... FLASH!

Gotcha. Well then I'll go ahead and delete the post! But it does work fine with Tinyshark, which was important for me. :)

    edit: you are correct.

    Optimus S, now with... FLASH!

I realized a little bit too late that this has been posted already. An ARMv6 port of Adobe Flash version 10.1.106.15 is out! Granted, it's not an official build, but it works perfectly fine. This has been reported not to work on Android 2.2/Froyo on other devices, but apparently DOES run on...

Optimus S on Metro PCS (How to get web/mms working?)

There are two different ports of CM7 for our phone - Zefie's "Scott Pilgrim" version, and then the aospC version. If you go to About Phone under Settings and you see anything about aospC, then MMS will not work. Unfortunately, that has nothing to do with the provider, the ROM itself doesn't...

Finally gonna do it, Any suggestions?

Are you asking if USB debugging is active during or after kp500? During, you're not going to be able to do anything. Afterwards, USB debugging functionality should remain intact.

LS670ZVD taking up space, are there undeleted install files?

First do this: http://forum.androidcentral.com/lg-optimus-s-rooting-roms-hacks/63636-how-revert-ls670v9-after-installing-ota-ls670vc-using-kp500-diag-mode.html Once reverted, download this: xda-developers (you have to register, but it's easy to do and will undoubtedly be helpful later down the...

LS670ZVD taking up space, are there undeleted install files?

I'm assuming you can't see cache or dalvik because you aren't rooted, but that seems about right. Since you aren't rooted, I'm assuming you accepted the OTA update, but there are several threads on here on how you can revert, root, and then re-update (with a bit of elbow grease ;) ). The...

LS670ZVD taking up space, are there undeleted install files?

Download DiskUsage from the Market. Open it up, and select App Storage. Press the menu button, select filters, check "Show Cache" and make sure everything else is checked also. Post results?

zvc lag, Roms , roots and questions

Did you accept the OTA pushed update? If so... I'm sorry to hear. There are guides to fix it, but it's going to take a bit more work than z4root did. ;) That being said, the VC baseband update itself shouldn't affect your phone's speed. edit...

ARCHIVED: [DEAD ROM] ThundeROM V1.8.3 4/5/2011

I could be wrong, but I believe that you can use Root Explorer (it costs money, but it's the easiest method) to open /system/build.prop with a text editor, and somewhere in there, you should see an alpha value about the carrier that says "ThundeROM". You should be able to replace it with...

ARCHIVED: [DEAD ROM]The Scott Pilgrim ROM (CM7 Gingerbread, Zefie Edition)

Quite understandable! Well, as I said, I only dabble in this kind of stuff and I'm pretty n00bish with Linux-related things, but if there's any sort of monotonous task in the project like that, hit me up and I'd be more than happy to throw my hand in. Your work has been massively appreciated by...

ARCHIVED: [DEAD ROM]The Scott Pilgrim ROM (CM7 Gingerbread, Zefie Edition)

Well, I did a "sysctl -a" and looked up each feasible value that wasn't network related... I'm not seeing anything sensor-related. But now I understand development frustration... Since I've spent an entire 30 minutes on this ;)

ARCHIVED: [DEAD ROM]The Scott Pilgrim ROM (CM7 Gingerbread, Zefie Edition)

Perhaps I'm going about this the wrong way. When I try to "adb pull /proc", I get the output "Skipping special file" for each file, both while running Android or recovery. Couldn't find anything about this on Google - any ideas? Also, the grep application in the market force closes every time...
